Founded by Kasie Mainiero, Rooted was born from WeCare Schools — a program she built in Caddo Parish that grew to 25 schools. These schools made double digit growth in attendance, behavior, and academics. But the results didn’t just show up in data. They showed up in hallways, classrooms, and communities.
